This book just wasn’t for me. The tug-and-pull dragged on far too long, the FMC’s choices were frustrating, and there was little to no romantic satisfaction by the end. The “twist” was predictable, and overall the emotional payoff I was hoping for never came. Dark romance fans who enjoy slow-burn turmoil may like it, but it missed the mark for me.
