A section on Endo?! My autoimmune disease hardly ever gets talked about, but it's becoming more prevalent. Research for women's health is seriously lagging, and with diseases like Endo it's heartbreaking and really frustrating to have no real treatment options. 1 in 10 women have Endo, but yet the treatment is what it's always been: the pill, hysterectomy, lap, & hope your symptoms get better. Hint: they don't.

Hated Sims before this book, still hate him. Seriously, f that guy. I absolutely love that someone (sorry audiobook so I can't reference back) is looking into the Mothers of gynecological history, sharing their stories, and giving them credit for their contributions.

Female genital cutting always wrecks my heart.

This book has been really interesting. The shame and "less than" approach to women's bodies has caused so much harm for centuries. Each day we get closer to understanding more, but the set back has created a huge deficit in our knowledge of the female organs.
