bad things have happened. not in the book, and not even to me directly. i hate how simultaneously black, white, AND gray life is.

I love when YA protags actually do something when they’re being harassed. I get that realistically some would just take it (me) but i’m glad Grace handled him (as much as she could)! I hate that unfair feeling that people are just allowed to do these things. anyway, love this.

this would have HIT in high school when I was trying to write Arden… I’m curious where this is gonna go, and I’m getting such good ideas from the different perspectives. again, love that this is in 3rd person. I’m also still looking to do present tense… we’ll see!!
