The "wild ride" towards the end was not expected but a fun read

Darling…just darling. This has the most beautiful, heart melting writing.

Just replaced audiobook for physical book so I can read. Love this story just wasn’t vibing with the southern accent of the audiobook.

I decided to stop the audiobook, I just couldn't deal with the weird "southern accent" the audio person was doing! It just makes no sense if the family is originally from the state of Washington. I feel like she chose to do it that way because of her growing up in a more "simple" environment but it still makes no sense - even the Dad has it! I will read this one, ordered book today. Not a good audiobook for me!

I’m listening to the audio and it is a bit off putting that audio voice is really swaying towards a southern accent which is very odd because the family is from Washington State NOT the south. So very strange. I am enjoying the story though.
