Wait, this is finally interesting??? You’re telling me that I finally care more about the actual plot rather than the side characters who are in love and nearly died for each other!? And it took 300 pages???
There’s no way I could recommend this book to someone with a reading comprehension higher than the 6th grade. It’s has interesting concepts and cool lore but it’s never used in an interesting way :(

I’m so conflicted with this book rn.
Girly pop runs towards her feelings, he says the feeling is mutual and suddenly she’s like, “mhm, actually maybe no.”
Gurl?! If this book wasn’t confined to the lore of the movies and bland Disney writing standards, this book could’ve been peak 😩
It’s amazing how much and yet so little happened in 30 pages

Just sitting here waiting for these two dummies to fall I love. Was this not advertised as a romance? I’m halfway through and I’m pretty sure Clarion’s homies have more chemistry than she and Milori.
Why?! 😩😩😩
Another thing, (probably to do with this being a Disney book) the writing style feels very dumbed down. Events just don’t hit with the same “Umpf!” As they should :/

Dude. If I didn’t already spend close to 30$ on my copy of this book I would DNF. It’s really boring, snowflakes and flowers have been described in ways that would make Tolkien shed a tear. The relationship and lore that made me want to read this in the first place is is so incredibly bland it makes me mad to even watch the movie rn. How do you botch up a book this bad with this source material???
