Govroch found a pistol and took it. There was someone with a cononball and had scared some people. One of the people was a barber that had seen Govroch with his pistol.

Marius and Cossette start actually dating. Marius finds Eponine and she probably has a crush on him. Marius goes into a building and Thenardier and 5 other men try to go there. When they are about to enter, Eponine stops them and doesn't let them go in.

Marius fell in love with Cosette. He heard of something bad happening in his apartment with her father. After hearing this, he had made a plan with the police. In his apartment, the Jondrettes had captured her father and had revealed themselves to him as the Thenardiers. While this was happening, they had accidently caught the attention of the police who had stopped all of this. Later Thenardier had escaped prison.

Marius falls in love with Cossette. Marius then learns about something bad happening including her father at his apartment and makes a plan with the police to stop it. In the apartment, people called the Jondrettes but had revealed himself as Thenerdier had captured Jean Val Jean but the police had been alarmed accidently. Thenerdier escapes prison.

Book 7 is about what life is and the religions and God and what they are.
