So. Again loving how Gilda grows and changes. Love how we aren’t getting her whole life, but bits and pieces which show how she’s changed. Loved that Bird returned.

So the edition I have has an extra chapter at the end, so the percentages on here are incorrect which is lovely. Anyway, really enjoying this book so far! Loving how Gilda is introduced to this life, comes to know the sorrow it can bring, and how she starts to know herself. Loving the way that the sections end when it’s thematically appropriate, not when her time in that space ends.
