This is objectively a good and interesting book so it might be a me-problem when I say I’m really not connecting with it. The Anthony/Ruying plot makes sense but it’s falling flat for me. I’m also not able to pictures the world the way I normally am. Plus the science versus magic thing and main conflict is not being expanded on as much as I think it could. Maybe it’s 4am and I’m missing but I want more
