First chapter is good. Activities and assignments in first 2 chapters are helpful. Some of the tips presented in chapter 2 encourage passive and/or passive aggressive communication, which is not helpful in asking for what you want. If you want something, especially from kids, give them clear, specific instructions rather than passive (at best statements.
