I unfortunately will be pausing this read for now. I have been physically reading along with the audio and I am just not retaining anything. My brain is not focusing on this and I think it is just not the right time for me to read this. It has the makings of all the things I love but I just can't right now.

500 pages in and I'm still struggling to latch on to this. I am listening to the audio while following along in the physical and it just hasnt gripped me.(Like page turner gripping) I'm liking it just fine and there is definitely great prose, but something isn't working for me. Here's to hoping the last 30% will hold something different that can change my feelings about it.
