I’m a little dumbfounded on how good this is. He illustrates God’s relationship with us by likening it to a parent beckoning a toddler forward as they learn how to walk. As a parent who did that very thing with my toddler today, that got me emotional so fast. He says how knowledge of God can be good, but God wants us to see him as a newborn baby sees and memorizes the face of his mom but doesn’t even know 2+2.
