Easy to read so far and so much valuable insight. I’m currently at the part where the post-rebellion highs have passed and the totalitarian regime begins and all I can really say is indeed, history does repeat itself. Totalitarian regimes and how they come to power seem to have a blueprint; 80 yrs since its original publication, the themes, methods, and characters still exist to this day in modern Philippines.
