Every page of ck is genuinely a line of crack to me. Jesper is so smitten with Kaz it makes him look stupid. Wylan backstory creeping in one page at a time. In gonna miss it when it's done

But it's nice that once every 4 years I can read it again, bc I did not remember them kidnapping Alys since the time I read this in high school

Oh Wylan Van Eck my dear dear darling... I do understand why there are no Wylan POVs until ck but I wish there were... his perspective is so refreshing compared to the rest of the characters :,) and all the little tidbits he exposes about the world are very interesting!! When he talks about the cities he and his father used to visit, the images are so clear in my mind, it's absolutely striking
