low-key a bit of a yawn… i really enjoyed quicksilver but i’m struggling with this one. it’s reading as /very/ repetitive to me. it’s also giving ACOMAF with the heavy emphasis on ‘mate’ like okkkkk we get itttttt…??? idk it’s put me in a bit of a slump but my hardcover edition is so gorgeous that i’m hating how much i’m disliking it
