Got to chapter 3 of book club book. They’ve reached summer and the narrator talks about how lonely summer was for him, he only read books and didn’t see anyone all summer. I thought it was interesting in Chapter 3 how Kojima’s home wasn’t the sad or chaotic place you’d expect from someone who got bullied so much. She likes to be dirty she explains to her friend, because it makes her feel likes she’s home

Went to the art museum, never saw the art picture she was trying to show him she called “heaven”. He ended up letting her cut his hair if she ever felt the need to cut things.

Book club book: I am enjoying the beginning of this book! It’s really sad to read what these kids are going through at school and at home. The tormenting these kids do to them is awful! I think their friendship they are starting to form is so sweet, I am at the part where they had their second secret meetup.
