Okay, I think I am definitely too old this now. First 4 books, it was fine, I could glaze over it, now... I cannot STAND the writing. Why does Mead feel the need to remind us what this certain thing is every second sentence?? By now I think we all know who Moroi, Dhampirs and Strigoi are. Or who spirit users are. Goddamn, you are doubting the reader's intelligence and memory and it's super SUPER annoying.
