At first, I thought I would hate Ace.

Now, he’s one of the top 3 smartest characters im the book. Seeing detonators, guns, and ammo, and saying “I’m getting the fuck out of here,” is the best thing he could’ve possibly done at that time. Too bad Gaunt is a supernatural force.
