i'm not convinced i'm reading the same book as the rest of my bookclub. "it's a silly goofy time, but we're not gonna have much to talk about at the meeting" "it annoys me that the MC is shy and awkward cause it's the only way writers know how to make women quirky". hey so like... are we all just ignoring the fact that the MC is an abuse survivor? and lost both her parents at a young age? &that's why she's like that?
