So far the pacing’s good. Very rich description and shows the stark difference of the young man living in the South persuading Barcelona and her army of Ulilas to migrate from the sinking Maynilad. I’m liking how the story’s going and Barcelona’s past (killing the policeman who killed her father) adds into the interesting mysterious character alongside with the build up of the plot
