A man (Yanaoka) is thinking of buying a home, and finds an odd extra space between the kitchen and the living room closed off by a wall. Yanaoka gets with his friend (narrator), who’s a freelance writer, to try to learn more about that extra space. The narrator can’t seem to figure out what’s up with that space and decides to get with his architect friend Kurihana to try to uncover the truth in this floor plan
