I really love it!! Based on seeing your recently read books I think you'll thoroughly enjoy it. My one recommendation is to have some sort of atlas or globe with you while reading, it really helped me pinpoint the geography. Every chapter covers about 100-200 years so it's a faster paced world history centered on east of the Mediterranean
