day i was happy just to be alive and young and moving. The next day i felt
like the world was coming to an end. Everything in my life was jagged,
sharp, unfinished edges’

have the most money control the country and, through campaign
contributions, buy and sell presidents, congressmen, and judges, the ones
who pass the laws and enforce the laws that benefit their benefactors.
