Well, I was wrong, I have actually read the bit about the fig tree, because it was 8 chapters ago - for some reason I'd forgotten and thought it was still coming up? Anyway, only a few pages left now, and I'm going to miss Esther with her wild imagination and disgust towards men.

ashamedly, I have not even reached the part about the fig tree yet. but I didn't know where it was in the book to begin with anyway - maybe not the best choice of read after being all consumed by Sally Rooney? [Intermezzo, obvi].

Depression <3 but for hot girls

Didn't get much reading done in December at all :(, & picked this up again for the first time today

though I have not yet even fully digested the brilliance that was Intermezzo, the show must go on
