Miyoung and Jihoon reconnect for a bit and Jihoon gets a call that his Halmoni passed away. At the funeral he is angry with his mom and he passes out. He wakes up in the hospital and is taken by Yena and Miyoung tells Somin the truth. They arrive at the words and Hae betrays them and Jihoon is almost killed. Miyoung and Yena are dying but Miyoung fights back and is encouraged by Jihoon and Nara steps up.

Jihoon wakes up in the hospital with Mi-young and Mi-young finally tells him the truth and it doesn’t go well. She also finds out her father is detective Hae and Yena tells her to stay away from him. Later Jihoon goes back home and meets Junu there and he tells him Mi-young chose him but he also tells him to run since Yena is after him and maybe Mi-young since she doesn’t have long left to live without feeding,

Miyoung meets Jihoon at the hospital to try and help his Halmoni. But it’s fails and Halmoni is trying to tell Miyoung to stop. Later she goes back and Jihoon catches her on the phone with her mom and he says hurtful things to her. At work later Junu stops to see Jihoon and helps him find Miyoung. Jihoon goes to see Miyoung at Namsan and she forgives her then they have a moment that ends in disaster

Miyoung ans Nara cross paths agin and Nara warns her about her Halmoni. Later Jihoon and Miyoung meet again and Jihoon can’t forgive her. Later at school Jihoon runs into Miyoung and Junu and Miyoung tells him she can help his Halmoni. He thinks about it. Then they meet again in the rain and they plan to meet at the hospital the next day and Jihoon gives her is umbrella and she goes back to Junu’s.

Jihoon gets ready to leave the hospital and he goes to see his Halmoni before he leaves. Hes’ worried and misses her and wishes he treasured those moments with her more. Then Jihoon sneaks away in a cap home. After Jihoon leaves Mi-young goes to see Halmoni and apologises. When Jihoon gets home he is surprised to meet Junu who informs him Miyoung is back.

Jihoon has a seizure while working his jobs. Meanwhile Miyoung is suffering from not feeding. While Jihoon has his episodes he has dreams and he dreams about Miyoung and Miyoung dreams about him and him pleading her to help his Halmoni. Miyoung wakes up and convinces Junu who is watching her to take her back to Seoul. Eventually Jihoon gets discharged from the hospital and goes to see his Halmoni before he leaves.

At the hospital Miyoung decides to leave with her mother to protect Jihoon. Jihoon wakes up and spends lots of time in the hospital and starts having seizures because of the bead inside of him. He is also dealing with rent, living alone and school. His friends are worried but he still keeps the truth from them. Jihoon is sad about Miyoung and misses her but won’t admit it and he hopes his Halmoni will wake up.

While back at Jihoon’s house. Miyoung and Jihoon express their feelings and have their first kiss. Later they wake up to a bang in the restaurant and they see Halmoni on the floor and Yena. Miyoung pleads with her mother not to hurt them but it’s too late Jihoon is stabbed trying to protect his Halmoni. To save Jihoon Miyoung uses her bead and by demand of Jihoon’s Halmoni to take her gi. Jihoon is alive.

Mi-young is betrayed by Nara and her grandma and is put in danger and almost kills Jihoon but he still stays by her side. Mi-young also finds out her mom killed Nara’s parents and she and her grandma get into a fight. While Mi-young is hurting Jihoon tries to comfort her. Nara and her mom leave and Yena almost kills Jihoon but he is able to stop her. He and Mi-young go back to his apartment to heal their wounds.

Mi-young ani Somin finally bond. Later Mi-young, Jihoon and his friends clean up graffiti . Mi-young also realises that she needed friends. When she gets home her mother finds out her secrets and breaks her talisman and Mi-young is distraught. Later Jihoon warns Mi-young about the investigation. But she blows it up and goes to meet Nara to heal her but she grows untruthful of the shaman and surprisingly her grandma.
