A good example of betrayal.

I shouldn't be complaining really, and at my grown age at that, but there was a few chapters ago, a 14 (singular) page chapter. And I was putting it off for that whole day. Ofc on my reading app, it doubles the pages, so it said 7 (bloody AI generators, they can't even calculate how many pages in total I need to read - I take that info from this site).

Whatever qualms I initially had and doubts - they have dispersed.

I liked how the characters didn't so easily get into bed with each other, despite the lingering romantic tension. That's something done right. Not every lustful feeling is meant to be acted upon. Not every romantic endeavour is a risk worth taking.

I fear this review will sound like a bunch of notes strung together. Don't know how to change that, however.

As I'm reading, I'm working on my writing skills simultaneously. I don't want you to think that I know everything, as I'm still learning as I go through life and experiences.
