TEXT TO SELF:I connect with this book to myself. I connect with this book because it talks a lot about being paranoid and trying to hide it and I can relate to that. It says"It was probably only a branch that hit the window or something,only it didn't sound like a branch." this shows how Lila is getting paranoid and I also get paranoid.

CHARACTERIZATION:Lila is a very anxious person. She wants everybody to think she is rock hard and doesn't have emotion but in reality she is an overreactor and makes everything a big deal. Her friends even think she causes so much drama and she knows it herself. Lila said "Well, I kinda had a near death experience because I wasn't wearing my seat belt in the car." Her friends just thought off her as an overreactor.

ANTAGONIST: The antagonist in my story is Grimsbane. Grimsbane is thvillian because he murdered Lilas Grandpa. In the book it says"Lila opened her mouth. She wanted to ask him why he poisonded her grandfather." This shows that he poisoned her grandfather and that makes him a villain.

DYNAMIC CHARACTER: The dynamic character in my story is Lila. She changes her emotion alot. She says Your a girl who underecact. Maybe your a girl who doesn't react at all. Your cool. Like a block of ice." Then in the next scene she freaks out and says "Oh my god, are you sick is dad sick is mom sick are you both sick?" She tries to stay calm but then goes crazy.
