Ok so. I’m a bit confused. About the plot AND how im feeling. Thinking this is gonna be a 3 star, but finishable. If I weren’t trying to give Hemingway a shot I probably would’ve already dnfed. How can such simplistic writing feel so pretentious while still feeling approachable?!

Ok so I’m still not fully vibing but it’s better than what I remember of old man and the sea to me… but like I hated that book. Though it’s only been 50 pages and I know it’s their honey moon but they need to get outta bed…

Ummm I didn’t realize this was published posthumously. And wasn’t in finished form. TBH I haven’t really liked Hemingway I’ve read before AND I’m worried this gonna be an incomplete novel. Regardless reading this helps with my challenge to clear my tbr shelves.
