Wasn’t sure how I’d feel with this one early on but glad I stuck with it. Flips between past and present under the guise of story telling so may be hard as an audiobook but wasn’t an issue with a physical copy. Classic Fredrick Blackman style with a deep message and lots layered in. Lots of grief so if you’re navigating that in your own life do some research before reading.
