It’s actually taken me so long to finish this due to motivation that my exam is in 5 days haha. I’m still not a hardcore fan of this book despite having read it 3 times, I’ve obviously found more foreshadowing and symbolism which is nice but the ending still feels so rushed for some reason. Anyway this is my 3rd reading. “Stand in it for all you are worth, facing the sunshine”

Been a while since reading and I must admit took a lot of effort to continue but I’m now kind of reading it more from a educational standpoint so didn’t really pay much attention to the characters- this will likely change with the coming chapters cause I may or may not have rushed and read 4 in an hour just to get it over and done with- I’ll take my time with the last ones.

Quick test

I do think the book is a nice little read but having to re read it after knowing everything that happens is such a drag- I like finding little foreshadowing elements but still this is like a chore (technically is) but I find this book probably the hardest to re read out of the books I do for English Literature (though in terms of poetry I don’t like Sheers much other than like one or two of his poems)

I do love the books premise and all but i still find it quite boring in areas- I love the message and all but yeah the satire does get a bit too extreme for me, and this comes from someone who loves The Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy - it’s also so hard to tell whose speaking in parts which makes the entire read just so much more annoying

Rereading this book for the 3rd time for school- probably one of my least favourites out of the selection I’m forced to read, maybe rereading will change my mind so we’ll see.
