Mi-young and Jihoon reconnect for a bit. Jihoon gets a call that his Halmoni died. at the funeral he yells at his mother and passed out. but when he wakes up he and his mom embrace.Later Jihoon is taken by Yena and Miyoung tells Somin the truth. Mi-young goes to save him and is betrayed by hae. Her and her mother and Jihoon are in serious danger. Jihoon still alive encourages Miyoung to fight and Nara comes to help.

Mi-young and Jihoon dream together where Mi-young has to face her biggest fear. When Jihoon wakes up he goes outside because he can't sleep and he finds Mi-young at the playground drinking soju. She confesses everything and revels if she doesn't feed she will become human. The two talk for a bit and Jihoon carries her back to his apartment and she apologizes and admits she missed him but she says as her best friend.

Jihoon wakes up in the hospital with M-young and she finally tells Jihoon the truth and he is furious. Then Detective have comes in and he announced he is Mi-young's father. Mi-young calls her mom and she warns her to stay away from him. Later Jihoon goes home still angry the Junu appears and tells Jihoon Mi-young chose him and that her mother is coming for the bead. and Mi-young doesn't have long left to live.

Mi-young meets Jihoon at the hospital to try and help his Halmoni. She tri4s but Halmoni wouldn't let her ad she left unsuccessful. Later at the hospital again Jihoon overhears Miyoung on the phone with her mom he gets mad about the secrets and says hurftul things to Miyoung. He regerts it and Junu help him reach Miyoung and Jihoon goes to apologize to Miyoung at Namsan and they have a moment that ends in disaster.

Mi-young and Nara cross paths again and Nara warns her about her Halmoni. Soon after Jihoon and Mi-young meet again and Jihoon can't forgive her, Later at school they cross paths with her and Junu. Mi-young also tells Jihoon she can help his Halmoni. Later they meet again in the rain and they arrange to meet at the hospital the next day and Jihoon gives her his umbrella. and Mi-young goes back to Junu's place.

Jihoon gets ready to leave the hospital and he goes to see his Halmoni before he leaves. He misses her and wishes he treasured those moments with her. Later Jihoon sneaks away in a cap home. Right after he leaves Mi-young goes to see Halmoni and apologizes. When Jihooon gets home he is surprised by Junu who informs him Mi-young is back.

JIhoon has a seizure while working. While Mi-young is in Okasa suffering from not feeding which she swore not to do. While Jihoon has one of his episodes he dreams of Mi-young and Mi-young dreams of him pleading to help his Halmoni. Mi-young then convinces Junu who is watching her to take her back to Seoul while her mother is in Hong Kong. JIhoon is also discharged from the hospital a few days after his episode.

JIhoon wakes up and spends a long time in the hospital and he's been having seizures because of Mi-young's bead inside of him. His friends are very worried about him and Jihoon is dealing with rent and living alone. He's also coping with Mi-young being gone and keeping the truth from his friends. He's even on more jobs to earn money for rent. He's also spending time taking to his Halmoni hoping she will wake up.

Back In Jihoon's apartment Mi-young and Jihoon express their feelings and have their first kiss. Later they heard a bang from the restaurant and they saw Halmoni on the floor and Yena. Mi-young tries to plead with Yena but its too late Jihoon is stabbed by trying to protect his Halmoni and Mi-young is devastated but Halmoni says the bead can save him and Mi-young takes her gi upon her request. JIhoon is alive.

Mi-young finds out that Nara and her grandma betrayed her and that her mother killed Nara's parents. but before that she almost kills Jihoon but he stays by her side. Nara's grandma and Mi-young's mother get into a fight. Nara and her grandma leave and Yena almost kills Jihoon but Jihoon stops her. JIhoon and Mi-young go back to his apartment and Jihoon really wants to help Mi-young who's life just got even worse.

Mi-young and Somin finally connect. Later Mi-young hangs out with Jihoon and his friends for and realizes what she needed was friends. When she gets home her mom is mad and breaks her talisman. Later Jihoon goes to fund Mi-young and tell her about the investigation. but Mi-young tells her to leave. Mi-young then goes to Nara to heal her but she starts to feel untruthful of the Shaman and her granda who showed up.
