i wish i had a physical/digital copy of the text itself to figure out what exactly in happening with the pov. it’s understandable from listening but to have viridian be in first person narration even though she’s. not the main character (yet) is so curious. i really wanna know if there’s visual cues attached to that or not

viridian is such a cool name- reminds me of the planet veridian III where the enterprise-d crash landed after a battle with lursa and b'tor on a bird of prey after they got the shield modulation from tapping into La Forge's visor to see where he went in engineering and disabled the coolant system for the warp core leading to a breach so they had to seperate the saucer section and land it in order to stop soran from destroying the star of the veridian system to move the nexus to the planet so he could enter it
