Yeah so this was 5⭐️. The characters, the dynamic, the world, the magic. Mostly the characters. I’m not going to be able to stop thinking about them all for months.

I don’t know how to describe all the relationships forming in this book other than, weirdly, the word “scrumptious”.

The chokehold this series is about to have on me… I’m spellbound by the magic of this book.

The Christian imagery in this book is insane. What do you mean that Paul, naked, must hang from a barbed tree for three days and nights before “something” seems to rise from the dead? Also I renounce that Paul will actually die, and so now
I’m wondering if he somehow in this allegory becomes a Messiah figure. Actually analyzing this book from a theological perspective would be WILD.

I know I’m disagreeing with the narrative here, but Ailell is a horrible coward and a worse king
