People really think this is “drawn out”? Yes, it’s “slow”… I guess? But, Lisa Jackson has crafted characters and has truly built in time for the reader to be immersed in their lives. It not a 290 page edg-of-your seat thriller. It’s a tense, bleak, and spine-tingling stalker thriller. It wouldn’t hit the same IMO if it didn’t take the time to build tension. I’m sucked in at page 100!
