Was a jealous compliment. You read so many different books, of different types, zooming by while I sit turning a few pages.

Sorry, I get thin-skinned. I am a retired lawyer. When you read & write for a living for 40 years, you get pretty speedy at it. Also, I suffered a rare side effect of cancer, which left me with speech articulation dysfunction and barely mobile. I take 20 times longer than others to do most things. The only exception is that I can read and absorb things more quickly than most. - probably because I can't wander around and chatter.

Raymond Elmo Ouch. Well, I, also can chatter. I'm quite excellent good at chattering away. Not that my family appreciates it.

Ms. Hart, I hope you holidays are going well and warm, peaceful and full of good music, old quilts, favorite movies, fun reads, and familiar smiles.
