Old school science fiction - reminds me of back to the future, when michael j fox character goes back in time and meets his father in HS. His father is in to science fiction and might heave been reading Isaac Asimov. It all feels kinda corny now. A better author of this genre is michael Crichton, andromeda strain is light years better.
