With the dual-narrative, surreal and baffling worldbuilding and weird fixation on teenagers’ bodies, I was going to say “yep, this is definitely another Murakami” - until I realised it is almost *literally* the premise as Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World 🤔
