It’s nostalgic re-reading this. I can remember what it was like the last two times I read it when I was growing up, and that I’m getting something different out of the story each time.

It’s especially fun now to read it and piece together the little details that stand out if you know how the folk operate. Specifically when Saaski feels indebted to her mother.
