I honestly never thought Id give a shit about battle scenes. But hell, even Im getting invested. It helps that interspersed between the war are scenes between characters. I hate Tuon but Im glad Mat and her are reunited. He brings out what little good there is in her. Hopefully Rand convinces her to sign the Dragon’s Peace.

I think retaking Caemlyn is a mistake, personally. Raze it and move on. Same with the Borderland nations. But well, I’m no military expert
