i love how we’re midway through the book and barely anything has happened 💀 puro flashbacks and “heyyy so if you forgot about what happened in shades of magic here’s a recap” which i appreciate lolz

it’s sweet that this book takes place 7 years after the shades of magic trilogy because i read the trilogy when i was 14 and now i’m 18. not quite 7 years but also a notable stretch of time
