I think I love this so far. It's hard because Im listening to it and I keep missing the setting at the beginning of the chapter so I have to go back and figure out what time we're in lol

Small beef: sometimes (often) I feel like the author was going back and forth between two different ways of wording something and then, instead of choosing one, kept both. It kind of gives pretentious instead of poetic.
