I'm enjoying this book, but I can't help feeling like there's a more interesting story NOT being told while the main characters are on a slow road trip out West. I am far more interested in the sleepers and what they are dreaming about, why they came, and what will become of them, than, sorry to say, these tangentially related randos. I still have half the book to go, so I'm hoping I get some surprises soon.
