I am so tired of every bad guy in suspense books being someone one of the characters knows and trust...could we just not. Like, seriously? Can the villain for once be someone they don't know personally? XD

Also, why do the hitmen always stink at their jobs? Like good for the characters, but these guys continue doing the same thing expecting different results...I just think we can do better in the villain department.
