Trying to figure out exactly how I feel about this book so far is about as mangled and complex as the entanglement of blood, bone, and muscle that fold and unfold against the vowels and consonants of every page.

But like Melody said, I'm still reading! Muir has taken a lot of risks by telling the story in such a cloaked and disjointed way in Act One. I almost admire it, but I hope this story stops eluding me.
