I’m really loving this book so far, but listening to the audiobook is definitely…an intense experience. The plot moves fairly quickly and I guess I thought I was prepared for it, but it still really caught me off guard as I was listening. Intense, but in the good, truly gripping way and with enough storyline and underlying tension to not feel too overwhelmingly heavy.
