So I'm 50% in and there's been no real information about what the morning star is doing (if anything). I'm enjoying the book, but imo it's been a character study so far. I think some people might get frustrated with that.

Even though not much has happened yet main plot wise, this is good so far. Feels like a slow burn. The first three chapters are long and each has a different character view. I think some people could be bored by it, but it's engaging me. Which is surprising because I'm not usually a character person when it comes to books.
