This is so fascinating, there’s so many elements in the story. From Alices secret and reason being at the palace for three years. To Honesty wanting to rise up in her work, being a storyteller to the queen. I’m loving the setting it’s told so perfectly that you can picture everything from the glorious parts of the palace to the grotesques of the poverty dirt ridden streets and the gross people. I’m loving this book.
