I see how the book is developing and where is going. I'd say it has notes of Normal People in both the stylistic phrase and the story line. Two of the characters are giving Colonel and Marianne 100%. This makes one wonder if the authors perception of reality and love is all and all equated to, the essence of "mess". Loose ends, arrows pointing in every direction, communication without resolve...

Little memories
of days past.
Some good, some bad.
Although the weary eyes do play;
Though the pictures start to fade.
I guess in the end it should make you feel glad,
that those fleeting moments didn't travel by too fast.
They are what they were, and they will what they will be,
all that is left to do is write an elegy
