How are you finding this? Saw it on 2025 must read African books and was wondering if I should pick it up or not?

It's really good and an easy read!! Oyinkan is an excellent storyteller, she does a great job of bringing the characters to life. I honestly picked up the book on whim so I could read something during holiday travels but so glad I did. I highly recommend it!!

I enjoyed her previous book and was worried I would go in with too high of an expectation but this gives me hope. definitely adding it to my Jan Reads.

Having missed out on her first book, I'll be doing the reverse and adding "My Sister the Serial Killer" to my 2026 TBR.
