Emma has stolen Ashley’s identity after helping carry out her murder with her twin brother. She is now 50 yo living in New York and isn’t in touch with him. But he’s a serial killer and has become a member of parliament. She sees Ashley’s ghost that night as she visits her often.

Emma left her at the bar and on the way home walking she saw a creepy man that did the motion of slashing her throat from across the woods. Also FMC shares insight she’s that Emma didn’t hold a grudge over her sleeping with a guy she liked.

FMC goes to a friends house for the holidays while she is studying in England. At the pub she gets noticed awkwardly by the mother of a woman who was mysteriously murdered since she looks like her.
