I quite literally can not put this book down! I am obsessed with the world building, the descriptions of nature & the spirits within. The Dragon? She's definitely a woman & a girls girl & I'm here for it. We are learning more about Ferris & I'm still obsessed with her. Hendrix is still a narcissistic prick. He dresses his words up pretty but actions speak louder.I've pretty much highlighted every line on every page.

OHHHH THE SLOW BURN THAT IS WITHIN THIS BOOK!!!! but it was hands down worth the wait. I thought Shield of Sparrows would be my favorite Romantasy of the year but honestly... I think I've found it at the end of this year. May this be a sign of an amazing reading year next year!!

I am completely obsessed with this book! The spirits? Especially the Dragon... My actual spirit animals. Life wouldn't be so bad if I had a sassy, take-no-shit, Dragon as my companion.... But this is why I read... So I can dream about it. Hendrix - I'm softening to him a LITTLE, but he still irks my nerves something serious - morally grey? No this guy is morally BLACK - to his soul!

First off - I'm COMPLETELY OBSESSED with Ferris Creed. If I didn't know I was bisexual before, I would now. She's an absolute riot, loves books, & holds her own around men who think their better & stronger than any & everyone.
Secondly - I truly can't stand the MMC. If you want TRUE enemies to lovers (if that is even where it's going bc idk how it can) then THIS is the book for you. Selfish, narcissistic, PRICK!

I've been looking forward to this for so long! I haven't read any of the twisted sisters books because I wasn't intrigued by them but Hollow? Horror filled woods with sexy Fae who are 7 ft tall? SIGN ME UP! I love any story based in the woods and/or mountains. It's like coming home. Can't wait to see where this story goes. Waited until the mood was right & I'm so glad it was before the end of 2025. 10 more till 100!
